"Book 1 of the multi-episode series The Cage Sessions

Just turned 30, Damien is surrounded by beautiful girls. He trains them in the "Deviant Arts of Pleasure." But none of them are on his level. Disillusioned and jaded with the music industry, he has quit his band in search of something more meaningful out of life.

When Annika and Damien meet, sparks fly. The steam between them is hotter than the Florida sunshine.

Damien makes an offer to Annika. Neither realizes it yet, but it's an offer that will fill their lives with both deep meaning AND sizzling passion... starting at one of Damien's infamous Friday night parties full of decadence and debauchery. "

** spoiler alert **

Where do I even begin with this book?

At first - there were way too many details... Just too much information, way too quickly.

And then we have Damien Cage... Alleged rock sex god, supposedly well versed in literature and yet he loves - wait for it - Nickelback.

NICKELBACK.

In fact, he's good friends with them and I'm like, IS THIS A JOKE?

Let me tell you - I loved me some AJ McClean when I was that age and if he ever offered me the position of being a groupie (READ: this chick was MOCKING Cage's groupies for being slutty bimbos) but said that I first had to submit to him sexually, I'd be out of there faster than a bat out of hell.

At this point, I'd DNF this book but I'm too far in. I'm too. Far. In. I have to know what happens next.

And then we get to the party. Her best friend is urging her to go along with it and then there are women leaning over, revealing their anuses and again, I'm like - WHAT IS HAPPENING?

And if it weren't bad enough, Damien Cage decides to serenade her with Nickelback.

And I am DONE.

I just couldn't. I can't. I'm sorry.

And every time she called Damien "Mr. Cage," all I thought of was
