"He’s got everything but game….

William Drake is an artistic genius with a photographic memory and the intensity to master practically any task. Oh, and he owns a chunk of a billion-dollar gaming company. A twenty-six year-old guy with his wealth, talent, and good looks shouldn’t have problems winning over women. Except he does. To be exact—and detail-obsessed William is always exact—he’s got problems with Jenna Kovac, the troubled beauty who has his heart working overtime and his tongue tied in knots.

And she can’t afford to lose.

Jenna Kovac is a survivor. When war ripped her world apart, she lost her family, her homeland, and her one true love. She’s made a new life for herself in the US, but she’s learned that nothing is permanent, and some nights it’s not even safe to dream. When a scumbag sells her future out from under her, suddenly the only man who can get it back is William Drake, geeky—but scorching-hot—social disaster. William must learn to stay cool under pressure for the all-important duel he’s about to fight. Unless she can teach him to loosen up, she’ll lose everything.Again.

But Jenna’s got a few things to learn from this irresistibly enigmatic man. As they spend time together, they’re soon exchanging long, slow kisses—and painful secrets. There’s so much more to William.

Something that might be worth taking one more risk…"

Deep, in the darkest and most cynical corners of my heart, I was waiting for Brenna Aubrey to fail... because surely it is not humanly possible for an author to write not one - not two, or three, or four - but FIVE stories that suck me in and scramble my emotions about and leave me all sorts of f*cked up. But as with For the Win (#4), I've been proven wrong AGAIN and all I can say is that I am sorry.

Five stories at five star ratings... What began as the simple exchange of an ARC for an honest review has turned into a devoted fan anxiously awaiting the next installment in her favorite series by her favorite author.

I have evolved into a complete and utter fangirl.

But, you're interested in what I thought about For the One.

Well, I loved it - obviously. Like all of the other stories in this series, For the One was one giant cluster of emotions and roller coasters that left me simultaneously elated and devastated. Jenna and William's story was so deliciously different from Adam/Mia and Jordan/April and yet held the exact charm that sucked in me before.

I adored William. I loved seeing his inner thoughts and how he worked through his emotional trauma. He was a favorite side character through out Adam and Jordan's stories, so letting him have the spot light was long awaited. I was cheering him on at every step of the way, despite his more cringe worthy moments. I am incredibly excited that his (and Jenna's) story will be continuing on in a future novel.

But Jenna on the other hand?

Just kidding, bae - only sometimes. Look, I get it - Jenna has had traumatic experiences AF in her short life... but the constant need to leave and the clinging to self-directed guilt and not believing that she deserves love...?

All in all, this book was amazing - quite possibly my favorite out of the series. For the One was a ridiculous roller coaster and I actually had doubts about the ending of the book. The ending crept closer and closer and all was NOT well and all I could think was

If you haven't checked out the series, I don't know what you're doing with your life and I can't help you. Go buy At Any Price and we'll talk when you've finished For the One - because I promise you'll be hooked. The writing is fabulous, the characters are engaging, and the story lines are addicting.

Also - if you HAVE read the book... Let me know if the last couple of chapters reminded you of this...
