"More Four! Fans of the Divergent series by #1 New York Times bestselling author Veronica Roth will be thrilled by "The Transfer," the first of four new short stories told from Four’s perspective. Each brief story explores the world of the Divergent series through the eyes of the mysterious but charismatic Tobias Eaton, revealing previously unknown facets of his personality, backstory, and relationships."

The Transfer is told from the point of view of Four from the Divergent series. The Transfer is a quick novella that follows Tobias "Four" as he is initiated as well as how he obtains his nickname. The Transfer is the first in four novellas narrated by Four. This is the first time in the series that the reader is introduced to Tobias' P.O.V which is great because he will be narrating Allegiant along with Tris.

The Four that is introduced in this novella is very unlike the one in Divergent. The fact that he isn't strong makes me love him more. You can still see his strong will but he isn't a bad ass yet. But you see the glimpse when he establishes who is. I love that Veronica Roth brought in some familiar characters such as Tori and Eric. Even the Prior family got their little mention. There were references and foreshadowing to plots that occurred in Insurgent

As a reader you only know Tobias with Tris. I think reading about where he came from and why he made his choices make you respect him more. It also brought more depth to the series learning that not everyone had the same process Tris did. Tris knew things Tobias didn't and they both made similar choices for completely different reasons.

I can't wait to read more of Tobias' P.O.V in Allegiant which comes out very soon as well as the other three novellas.
