Casting Call Saturday | Losing Hope

Losing Hope by Colleen Hoover
Amazon + Good Reads

"In the follow-up to Colleen Hoover’s #1 New York Times bestseller Hopeless, the charming and irresistible Dean Holder tells the passionate story that has melted thousands of hearts.

In Hopeless, Sky left no secret unearthed, no feeling unshared, and no memory forgotten, but Holder’s past remained a mystery.

Still haunted by the little girl he let walk away, Holder has spent his entire life searching for her in an attempt to finally rid himself of the crushing guilt he has felt for years. But he could not have anticipated that the moment they reconnect, even greater remorse would overwhelm him…

Sometimes in life, if we wish to move forward, we must first dig deep into our past and make amends. In Losing Hope, bestselling author Colleen Hoover reveals what was going on inside Holder’s head during all those hopeless moments—and whether he can gain the peace he desperately needs."

For the role of Holder, I've chosen Matt Prokop.
To perfectly fit my idea of Holder, Prokop would have to hit the gym and buff up a little (Holder is a runner, after all) but otherwise, I think he'd be perfect. First of all, he has the Bieber hairstyle down... and two, I can really see him as the protective and loving brother (for Les, of course... not Sky... that'd be creepy...). He's sweet, cute, and witty and I think that screams Holder.

For the role of Sky, I've chosen Lily Collins.
Admittedly, I have never seen anything that Lily Collins has been in but to me, she has Sky's look. She's beautiful!

For the role of Grayson, I've chosen Jake McDorman.
Yeah, I know, he's a bit too old to be playing a high school student but McDorman's Evan Chambers (from GREEK) is the college aged version of Grayson. Self-assured, pretentious as frack, an overly inflated ego, and just an all around dick? Yeah, they're the same.

Well, that's it for now. Let me know who you'd pick if you could cast Losing Hope!
