Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
This week's theme? The Top Ten Authors That I'd Put On My Auto-buy List

This week's topic was really hard for me... I really had to wrack my brain - which authors, if any, would I automatically buy titles from, no questions asked? I've spent at least two days compiling this list and could only come up with seven authors.

Sylvain Reynard - If you're familiar with my blog, it should be no surprise that Sylvain Reynard is at the top of this list. I absolutely adored Gabriel's Inferno and Gabriel's Rapture and am eagerly awaiting the third (and final? I hope not...) installment in the series. Not only is Sylvain Reynard an awesome author, but he is also incredibly accessible and interactive with his fans. I'm quickly finding that I love nothing more than an author who tweets, daily, with his fans.
Stephenie Meyer - I'm going to swallow my pride and my slight book snobbish tendencies and say that I would pretty much, with in reason, pick up anything that Meyer writes......... and I'm looking at you, The Host #2

John Green - I am actually slightly surprised that I'm writing this because to be honest, I've only had a 50/50 success rate with Green's novels. I adored The Fault In Our Stars and enjoyed Looking For Alaska as well as the several novels that he has contributed to, but felt underwhelmed with Paper Towns and An Abundance of Katherines. Here is to hoping that his novels get stronger as they go!

Stephanie Perkins - Let's be real. If you haven't read Anna and the French Kiss and Lola and the Boy Next Door, you are missing out. Big time. I love, love, love Perkins' characters, settings and story lines and cannot wait to read more from her in the future. Isla and the Happily Ever After (book #3 in the Anna universe) is the first book I have ever pre-ordered!

Sarah Dessen - Again, I love me some contemporary YA romance and for the most part, Dessen always come through for me. I would happily pick up any new novel from her, without checking out the plot before hand.

Jamie McGuire - I absolutely freaking adored Beautiful Disaster in a very guilty, obsessive way... Waking Disaster is supposed to come out in a little over a month... and is in my cart on Amazon!

Sylvia Day - I loved, loved, loved the first two books in the Crossfire series and am anxiously awaiting the third installment! I know that Sylvia Day has a ton of books out but I've only read the Crossfire series. Can you guys give me any other suggestions?

Who would you put on your auto buy list?!
