Halloween read... Muahaha!

Hey guys!

The fall is my absolute favorite time of the year! I love the beautiful colors that come with the leaves turning, the chilly air that makes you want to snuggle up and all of the amazingly creepy stuff that comes with Halloween...

So, I need your help!

I have three books in mind that I want to read to pump me up for Halloween but I only have time to read one book for the season. I'd like you to cast your vote on the poll that I have. You can find it on the side panel.

Continue after the break for the three possibilities...

The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan. I don't know about you guys, but I absolutely love zombies... but paired with a dystopian society? What more could you want? I've heard so many positive things about this book (the first in a series) but I haven't been able to get around to reading it... yet. If you'd like to see a Halloween review/video about this book, please vote!

The Ask and the Answer by Patrick Ness. This is the second book in the Chaos Walking trilogy (have you checked out The Knife of Never Letting Go?). I'm curious to see where Todd and Viola end up after being separated at the end of the first book. If you're new to this series, the Chaos Walking trilogy, check out the synopsis of the first book linked above! I can't do the series justice by trying to write a summary that is only a sentence long. If you'd like me to tackle this book, please vote!

The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson. I don't know how familiar you are with my reviews but if you've been with me since the start, you'll know that Maureen Johnson and I did not have a great start. But I am dying to love her and I hear that The Name of the Star is one of her best works yet. The book follows a young girl who travels to England during the time of Jack the Ripper. This book sounds so amazing. If you think so, please  vote!

There we have it! Which book do you think sounds the best? Have you read any of them... and what were your thoughts? Are there any other creepy books that you think I should check out?! Please let me know... I LOVE BEING SCARED!

Don't forget to look to the left side of the blog site to find the poll... and I'll see you guys next time!

*Update! The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan received the most votes. Keep your eyes open for a Youtube video and a review... I'm almost half way finished =]

Happy reading!

P.S. - What are you dressing up as for Halloween? My boyfriend and I are going as Finn and Jake from Adventure Time... mathematical!
